A lovely medieval town tucked into the hills of central Italy is where a group of artists will gather to celebrate the renewal of the senses which comes with the birth of every Spring, each creative personality offering their art to tease a particular sense…
So be it that on the weekend of 6-7 May 2017 my botanical paintings will be exhibited in Corciano (Umbria) to enhance the pleasure of our sense of sight. My husband, professor of music at the Conservatory of Perugia, will delight our ears with music played on his antique harpiscord, while my talented designer friend Cinzia Verni will present a series of her dresses and accessories created with decorated hand-made paper to stimulate everyone’s sense of touch. Three professional flower designers will construct small sculptures of fresh flowers to enliven the public’s sense of smell, and last, but not least, everyone’s taste buds will be seduced by the delicious, decorated chocolates made by the maitre patissier of Vestri chocolates from Florence.
